Once you have created a page, use the following examples to establish your publishing settings.

1. Go to File -> Publish As
2. Verify that you are on the Settings tab
   
3. Enter artsci.wustl.edu/~username/ as the HTTP address of your homepage. Replace “username” with your actual user name (for example, jdoe)
4. Enter ftp://artsci.wustl.edu/~username as the Publishing address
5. Enter your artsci account user name and Password. Only check the Save Password option if you are on a secure computer that you do not share with anyone else
6. Under the Publish tab, create a filename if you haven’t already. The filename should end in either .htm or .html
   
7. Under Site subdirectory for this page, type “public_html” followed by any further subdirectories you have. These subdirectories need to be created in advance using an ftp program but are not required
8. Click the Publish button to copy your page into your account on the artsci server
