Netscape 7.x: Exporting Bookmarks
- Sign into Netscape. and select the Bookmarks tab and drop down to "Manage Bookmarks".
- In the Bookmark Window Select the Tools tab, and choose Export.
- In the Export bookmark dialog box, browse to the location where you want to save the bookmark file.
- Choose the file name for the bookmark file.
- Click Save.
Firefox: Exporting Bookmarks
- Open the Bookmark Manager within Firefox.
- Select Bookmarks -> Manage Bookmarks
- To open Export, select File -> Export in Firefox's Bookmark Manager. A dialog window will appear asking you where you want to save the file to.

Firefox: Importing Bookmarks from Another Browser
After installing Mozilla Firefox, the first time you start the program you will receive a prompt asking if you would like to import settings from your previous browser.
- If you cancelled the import process the first time you opened Firefox, go to File, select Import.
- Select the browser you wish to import from and follow the directions on screen.

- Open the Bookmark Manager by selecting Bookmarks -> Manage Bookmarks
- To open Import, select File -> Import in Firefox's Bookmark Manager.

- A new window will appear, asking you where you want to import your bookmarks from. Select From File. In this case, a dialog window will appear that allows you to select the file you wish to import. Please note that it may be necessary to export your bookmarks first, depending on the browser you want to import them from.
