Special notes before you connect:
- If you have an iPod Touch, you must have the v2.0 or v3.0 OS update installed.
- We recommend having your iPhone/iPod updated to the most recent version of the OS before connecting.
- If you have previously connected to WUFI, WUFI-S, or GUESTWifi-WUSTL, first follow the instructions at the bottom of this page labeled “Removing old wireless configurations”.
Connecting to WUFI-S
1. On your iPhone’s home screen, click “Settings”

2. At the top of the Settings page, click “Wi-Fi”

3. Wait for the iPhone to scan for available networks, then click on “WUFI-S”

4. Enter your WUSTL-Key username and password, then click “Join”

5. When shown the security certificate, click “Accept”

Removing old wireless configurations:
- If you had previously connected to WUFI-S, remove the iPhone Profile:
a. On your iPhone’s home screen, click “Settings”
b. Click on the “General” button
c. Scroll down to the bottom of the “General” settings and click the “Profile” button
d. Click the “Remove” button
e. When prompted if you are sure, again click “Remove”
- Tell your iPhone to “forget” previous connections to WUFI, WUFI-S and GUESTWifi-WUSTL:
a. On your iPhone’s home screen, click “Settings”
b. At the top of the Settings page, click “Wi-Fi”
c. If your list of networks shows a checkmark next WUFI, WUFI-S, or GUESTWifi-WUSTL, click the small blue arrow to the right of the network name
d. On the page for that network, click the “Forget this Network” button
e. Repeat these steps for WUFI, WUFI-S, and GUESTWifi-WUSTL as necessary
