The ArtSci server is shared by over 11,000 faculty, students and staff. To ensure that this limited resource is shared evenly, we set a space limit of 500 MB on A&S student accounts.

If your account is over the 500 MB space limit, we ask you to reduce the size of your account within 9 days.

Following these tips can help reduce the size of your inbox:

• Messages with attachments use the most space. Download the attachments and remove these messages first.
• Delete messages you do not need.
• Move messages you need to another mail folder
• Check your Outlook, Thunderbird or Apple OSX Mail preferences to make sure they are set to delete messages from the server when they are deleted locally. We can send instructions on how to check this if you e-mail help@artsci and let us know what e-mail client and version you use.
