Past Questions From the Help Desk

I am having trouble using Telesis. Where can I get some help?

Faculty members who would like to schedule an Introduction to Telesis or other support session may contact the Telesis Support School Representative designated for their specific area or their Departmental Support Representative in A&S Computing.

Students can get help at ArtSci Tech Support, located in the Computing Center on the lower level of Eads Hall.

I don't remember my user name or password, but I know that I changed them from the original settings. Is there any way you can reset those?

The fastest way for you to get your email password reset is to call or stop by the ArtSci Tech Support desk. We are open from 10am-7pm Mon-Thurs, 10am-5pm Friday. The phone number is 935-8077.

I got a suspicious email that looks like it's from Arts & Sciences Computing but the message asked me to reply with my password. Is it a genuine message?

Is there a way for guests to have access to the WU wireless network?

Yes! The wireless network for guests is named "GuestWiFi-WUSTL"

I received an email message from "The Help@Artsci Team" asking for my email login and password in order to keep my account active. Is this a real message or a scam?

Arts & Sciences Computing will never ask you to send us your email password. Any message requesting passwords or other personal information should be considered suspicious. If you are ever in doubt about the legitimacy of a message you may send it to the help@artsci email address and we will let you know.
