From the Help Desk

A new student who is taking my class does not have a computer suitable for making audio recordings of himself for class assignments. Is the lab in Eads 007 or another ArtSci Computing facility suitable for this?

The student can make audio recordings at any computer in the Humanities Digital Workshop ( Eads 007) or the larger computer lab down the hall. He will need to check out a headset from the front desk in either lab, so he will need to bring his WU ID. The students who work in Eads 007 can also help him if he has questions.

There are laminated instruction sheets as you walk into Eads 007 with step-by-step instructions for using Audacity to record your voice. Here is a link to those: http://computing.artsci.wustl.edu/help/180

I hope this helps!
