Enter your artsci username (all lowercase), your current (old) password, and then the new password.

Password Guidelines

Your password should be something you will remember, but someone would find hard to guess. You should avoid using actual words. You might take two short words and combine them with a special character or number, as in 'robot4my', or 'eye-con'. You could also put together an acronym that is special to you, such as 'Notfsw' for 'None Of This Fancy Stuff Works'. If you choose a poor password, the system will not accept it, and may ask you to try again.

Here are the basic system requirements for a new password. Passwords must consist of the following:

• Between 6 and 8 characters
• At least one upper-case character, and one lower-case character
• At least one non-alpha character, such as a number and/or character such as: !,@,#,$,%,^,&,*,(,)
• Do not use the following characters: " , ' , ` , ~ , | , \ , / , < , >
• The password will work over the network right away, modem access will not change until the next day.
