SiteImprove is a service that regularly crawls websites to help monitor for several different items. It can provide information on analytics (page views, visitors and traffic sources), quality assurance (broken links, misspellings) and accessibility (the ease with which a person with disabilities can access your site). All of these components work together to ensure we are providing a better web experience for our visitors.
Misspellings vs. Potential Misspellings
In Siteimprove, words are identified as misspellings when they cannot be found in the system's dictionary or have been confirmed as misspellings by a user.
Sign into Siteimprove and navigate to the Quality Assurance section. Click on the 'Links' section in the menu on the left side of the page.
The Policy tool helps you locate pages on your website where there are certain words, situations, or documents.
Why use analytics?
Using analytics can answer questions about visitors to your site:
- What are people looking at on my site?
- How are people getting to my site?
- What do people click on from the homepage?
